Kitchen refurbishment in existing rear terraced house extension.

It was a complete kitchen reorganisation. The main focus was to relocate a hob with extract to centrally located island in order to free the worktop space. Bespoke timber kitchen units contrasted with IKEA white storage cupboards.

The project was inspired by a kitchen designed for Rene Redzepi, one of Danish chefs who is a co-owner of Copenhagen’s the three-Michelin star restaurant Noma. All thanks to Garde Hvalsøe.

Centrally located existing post was retained and kitchen/dining separation bespoke storage units were surrounding it.
